The catalog contents can be searched in many
ways:
- Full text includes everything pertinent
in an image record such as names, keywords, styles, museums,
sources and much more.
- Field search is searching a specific
field of the data record. If you search for “fruit”
in the full-text search, your results span every mention
of fruit in every VRC file. If you search for fruit under
“title” you just get the titles that have the
term "fruit" in them. Specific field searches
exist for creator, title, or site.
- Help with searching is
available, with examples.
- Usage of these images is for instructional purposes
only, and must respect
digital copyright laws.
- Choose one type of search -
Instead of using
the full text search, you can do a Field Search instead.
